Who is responsible for your information?

The Tailored Pet Co is an independent sole-trader pet-care business serving Stourbridge and surrounding areas. The Tailored Pet Co is the data controller for information collected through this website and our pet-care services.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, contact details, address or postcode, information about your pets, requested dates and any other details you choose to provide when making an enquiry or arranging care.

How we use it

Information is used to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, plan and deliver safe pet care, communicate service updates, keep appropriate business records and meet legal or insurance obligations.

Our lawful bases

We use information to take steps at your request before a contract, to perform a booking contract, to meet legal obligations and for legitimate interests such as running the business safely and answering enquiries. Optional website analytics are used only with your consent.

Website forms and service providers

Website enquiries are processed through Netlify Forms and emailed to our business inbox. Our website and email providers may process information on our behalf under their own security and data protection arrangements. Information is not sold. It is shared only where necessary to deliver a service, respond to an emergency, meet a legal duty or protect animal welfare, for example with a veterinary professional where appropriate.

Google Analytics and your choice

Google Analytics helps us understand which pages visitors find useful. It does not load unless you select “Accept analytics”. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed at any time using the “Privacy settings” button. Google may process analytics information outside the United Kingdom using approved transfer safeguards.

How long we keep information

Enquiries that do not become bookings are normally kept for up to 12 months after our last contact. Booking, payment and transaction records may be kept for up to six years where needed for tax, insurance or legal purposes. Care and access information is reviewed when a client relationship ends and securely deleted when it is no longer required.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Please do not place alarm codes, key-safe codes or highly sensitive information in the initial website enquiry form; these details can be agreed securely later.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent or ask for a portable copy where applicable. Contact info@tailoredpetco.co.uk with a privacy request.

How to complain
